When does Dust Front RTS release?
No date has been announced. Steam lists the release as "To be announced". The developer has said he will not publish a date until it is official because he refuses to do postponement damage control, and that a single campaign is designed for roughly 15 hours.

No. It is a single-player game. rtsDimon has stated plainly that the project does not need multiplayer, that a small multiplayer community would still demand most of the post-release support attention, and that he will not build one. He has left the door open to a separate multiplayer project only if the game is successful.
Read next →Are there Dust Front RTS codes?
No. Dust Front RTS is a premium single-player RTS with no redemption system. There is no code field, no seasonal code drop, and no promo partner. Sites listing working codes are publishing fabricated strings.

Often, yes. Harvesters strip the minerals near a starting position, and the developer's own tips say that when you run short on resources you should move your base, build a passive economy and keep production running continuously. The MCV exists so the base can relocate.

Space triggers tactical pause: the battle freezes but you can still place buildings and issue orders, the same way They Are Billions works. Esc is a full pause. It is the most useful tool for new players because it removes the pressure to build and micro at the same time.

Four are designed: the Empire (officially the Fourth Industrial Empire), Mutants, Robots and Rebels, with Rebels described as the additional fourth. At release the campaign is planned for the Empire only. The demo lets you play the Empire against either the Bandit faction or the Mutant faction.

Steam publishes a minimum tier only: 64-bit Windows 10 or 8.1, an Intel i3-3250 or equivalent, 4 GB RAM, a GeForce GTX 1050 or equivalent, and 2 GB of storage. No recommended tier has been published. Linux builds were planned but remain untested and unlisted.
Read next →Can I save mid-battle?
The demo ships a single procedurally generated mission and the developer has not published a manual save spec. Treat the save system as unconfirmed until he states it; what is confirmed is that the full game carries campaign progress across battles through garrisons and strike groups.
Read next →Is there mod support?
Probably not. The developer has said modding support is unlikely, that some map-editor functionality was planned but not for release, and that adding new content is too early to call.
