Dust Front RTS: скриншоты — где искать официальные кадры

Скриншоты Dust Front RTS живут на странице Steam и в сообществе; вики их не подгружает напрямую — вот что именно показывают эти кадры и где искать движение.

There is no press kit and no media gallery on a publisher site, because there is no publisher. Every official image the game has is on Steam or on the developer's own channels, which makes them easy to find — even though this page will not display them.

Where official screenshots live

The Steam store page carries the curated set at the top of the page. These are the images chosen to sell the game, so they favour scale: wide battle shots, the Dreadnought, and the faction-defining machines. Opening an image in the carousel serves the full-size version rather than the thumbnail.

The Steam community hub holds the larger pool. Its screenshots section includes developer uploads tied to specific posts and player uploads from the demo, and it is where the interesting edge cases appear — odd camera angles, wreck states, maximum-difficulty battles.

Developer news posts carry their own inline captures. The April 3 2026 "DUST FRONT RTS | Destructions" post is the clearest example: it exists specifically to show a system, and it is illustrated for that purpose.

Because the demo is free and permanent, the player-uploaded pool is unusually large for an unreleased game. Those captures are real footage of the current build, but they are not curated and may have been taken with difficulty multipliers raised.

The practical reason is that Steam's content delivery URLs are not stable references. Hotlinked CDN addresses change, expire or start returning errors, and a page that embeds them silently rots into broken image icons. Describing where to find an image is durable in a way that embedding it is not.

The second reason is bandwidth and consent. Hotlinking pulls every byte from Steam's servers on every page view, which is a cost imposed on someone else for a site they do not run. The art belongs to rtsDimon, and pointing readers at the official upload is both lighter and more respectful of that.

What the captures actually show: soot, concrete and gas masks

The store description sets the scene plainly: a planet devastated by many wars and upheavals, where under a thick layer of soot and concrete lie the buried remnants of humanity's former might. The images follow that literally — grey and low-saturation, with the sky obscured rather than blue and the light flat in the way it is under heavy overcast.

The architecture is the strongest visual identity in the game. The Fourth Industrial Empire builds in brutalist concrete: civilian buildings that double as bunkers, heavy slab structures, fortifications that read as architecture first and defences second. Structures and weapons carry angular Cyrillic lettering, and the faction's accent colour is red against the grey.

The humans are not visible as faces. The remnants of humanity survive under concrete and behind gas masks, so infantry reads as silhouettes and uniforms rather than characters. The store page's mature content note — death animations of human units and mutants, with blood and corpses — means battlefields are littered rather than clean.

The Dreadnought, carpet bombing and what is on screen

The unit the marketing is built around is the Dreadnought: a land battleship carrying a huge triple turret of naval-scale guns. In stills it is the easiest thing to identify, because the turret silhouette is unlike anything else in the roster. It appears in both its mobile configuration and its deployed siege configuration, where the suspension locks down.

Captures of the tactical abilities panel show the bomber summon and its carpet bombing run. Since the June 15 2026 demo update, the flight path can be corrected after the bombing direction is set, so a bombing shot may show the line being adjusted mid-approach rather than a fixed straight pass.

The other faction in most demo captures is the Mutants, and they look nothing like the Empire: heavy close-quarters monsters, worms and flies, with a lot of heavy armour and none of the Empire's industrial geometry. Mutant corpses are worth looking for in post-battle shots — they spawn flies, and some spawn worm swarms.

Destruction, and the April 3 2026 post

Destruction has its own developer post, published April 3 2026 as "DUST FRONT RTS | Destructions". It covers landscape destruction and surface burning — terrain deformed by the fighting and ground that keeps burning afterwards. The developer's own caveat is attached: "the implementation has its own compromises and is constantly being refined."

That caveat matters when comparing images. Captures from different dates can show visibly different destruction behaviour, and screenshots from the Next Fest build show a later state than anything published before that post. Fire hazard and friendly fire appear in community gameplay breakdowns, but those specifics are player-reported — the developer's post confirms the landscape and burning systems, not the damage rules around them.

The camera, and where to find motion

Every capture is top-down, and the framing is a choice the developer has defended. He notes that the camera is already higher than in many classic strategy games, that the angle will most likely not change, and that the zoom level is still undecided. Player-compiled control lists report Alt+scroll for zoom and Alt+hold scroll for rotation; treat the keybinds as player-reported.

For anything that moves, the official YouTube channel is the only source. It is where trailers live and where the developer posted the link to the EDLISE soundtrack in his "End of fest" post. Stills cannot show what a Dreadnought volley or a bomber run feels like, and no screenshot gallery fixes that.

Key facts

  • Curated captures: top of the Steam store page (App 2610770)
  • Largest pool: screenshots section of the Steam community hub
  • System-specific captures: developer news posts, notably "DUST FRONT RTS | Destructions", April 3 2026
  • Motion: official YouTube channel only
  • This wiki: describes captures rather than hotlinking Steam CDN images
  • Camera: top-down, fixed angle, zoom level undecided
